Website Manager for 2022 onwards:
Enthusiastic website manager with wordpress experience and a good visual sense who will put the Festival events, images and copy online. HTML knowledge advantageous but not necessary. Some festival/ music/drama experience would be great, but you can learn as you go along. You will ideally be comfortable managing, inducting and motivating volunteers in the longer term – but this may not be relevant this year.
This role is likely to take a couple of evenings a week from the time the programme is finalised to the end of the festival.
Please send a short email with brief details of your experience and contact details to the Festival Chair thfestival (at) gmail.com.
We are always looking for box office volunteers and event stewards, and bar staff. We also need people to join the team delivering the programs in the weeks running up to the Festival.
Got specialist skills? We are also looking for light and sound technicians, event photographers and people who can help with social media, marketing and updating our website.
Why should you volunteer for the Telegraph Hill Festival?
Volunteering with the Telegraph Hill Festival is a great opportunity to work with local artists and performers, get valuable festival experience, meet your neighbours, make local friends and build and sustain a real sense of community.
As well as being a fun and rewarding experience you’ll gain free entry to the event you are volunteering at, plus a free drink if there’s a bar.
There are lots of ways to get involved to suit your interests and the time you have available.
“I love the festival. Volunteering for the Telegraph Hill Festival is absolutely brilliant. The two weeks of the festival are a blast and if you want to have great fun, get to know your neighbours and do something worthwhile.” – a volunteer.
The entire Festival is run on a voluntary basis and simply could not happen without our amazing volunteers.
