Event Details

There are dozens of types of wild animal living around Telegraph Hill – nearly all of them are birds. Birds are good at keeping out of any human’s way so we often don’t see what is under our noses. But we do hear them, and no time is better for doing so than during an early(ish) morning for the spring chorus.

In this event we will be walking around the Hill, mainly in the parks and listening to bird song and identifying what we are hearing. The walk is led by a local expert (his words) who can (probably) help identify most of the birds we hear.

Bring binoculars if you have them, but more importantly, your ears!

Refreshments afterwards in Telegraph Hill Centre.
