Peter Walker, Guardian journalist, will talk and lead a discussion based on his book ‘The Miracle Pill’ which looks at the science of physical activity and health. For centuries, movement was part of everyday life. Now exercise is 'professionalised’ (the gym, the special clothes) and life is spent sitting in front of a screen, all of which has big consequences. Taking ordinary everyday exercise is literally a life and health saver (and mental health saver too). Come and find out about the science and how you can move* healthily forward!
