"Join Song Leader Assamiya and the Heart Song Collective regulars for this relaxed, nourishing and playful a capella singing session. Song Medicine is specifically designed for maximum pleasure and minimum stress, with simple and beautiful songs from the Natural Voice Network. Unlike performing choirs, our sessions focus entirely on how it FEELS to sing together, and how great that is for our wellbeing. You’ll learn by ear, with lots of slowness and repetition, allowing the mind to relax and happy hormones to flow. It really is Medicine! We start with a group check-in and warm-up exercises, then we learn and sing three satisfying and soul-warming songs together, standing or sitting in a circle. And we have tea & biccies in the middle! No matter your level of confidence or assumed ability, you’ll end the session feeling peaceful, connected and nourished.
