This evening gives us a chance as a community to welcome, learn from, and stand in solidarity with those refugees who have recently settled in Lewisham - the first borough in the country to be awarded Borough of Sanctuary status.
Join us for an evening of stories, songs and poetry shared by refugees from Iran, Ukraine, Syria and Afghanistan who attend the weekly Facework employability training progammes at Hatcham House. Licensed bar, & food .
Every week Facework runs employment training and workspace for groups from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq at Hatcham House. Run by the refugees themselves this evening will be very special. Suitable for all those 14 years age and over.
