Event Details
HVCS and HOB are hosting this year’s Women’s Health Day Seminar. The event will focus on the “Womb, Menopause and the Gut”. It is a free event and will include light refreshments and a finger food buffet. At 4:30pm there will be an opportunity to socialise, visit the health stalls, and network.
Our event will raise awareness amongst women and preteen-girls about the significance of womb, menopause and gut health on their physical and emotional health and well-being. This event aims to engage women in understanding the symptoms and conditions which can affect womb and gut health. Participants will be made aware of warning signs, encouraged to talk to their doctors and make appointments for regular check-ups. Discussions will take place on what to do if they feel they are being dismissed by the medical professionals. We want to empower our women and preteen-girls to take responsibility for their own health needs by providing access to information and services that are available to help them to maintain good health and well-being.
Our presenters are professionals in their fields of expertise and will be presenting on Menopause, Women’s Emotional Health and Well-being, Womb and Gut Health, Nutrition and Exercise among others.
Hosted by Hillview Community Services, Juney Muhammad & the House of Bread Women's Ministry.
Supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.
