Excited by textures both in the natural world and in the built environment, my daily meditation and my fierce love for this planet inform my practice.
I use an etching press to emboss textures in cotton paper, sometimes all white, and sometimes I add layers of thin coloured papers which I then embellish with precious leaf; gold, silver, aluminium and copper.The work is described as ""calming"" or ""uplifting"".
As well as the paper works, I will also be showing a selection of textural photographs from the 1990s taken on my Minolta SLR camera.
