Come along to the Earl of Derby to hear some fantastic local musical talent.
Kicking off the evening will be 'The Electric Flames' a young up and coming band formed at Haberdashers School.
Next we will enjoy a set from Mark & G, combining the fingerstyle technique of "Trapper G" with the lyrical genius of Mark Sampson's local London songs. Being friends for over 20 years, the style of the two grew together when Gunter was visiting from many places of the world while Mark was in South East London interpreting local events and sites. Enjoy an evening of their joint adventures, starting off solo and highlighting the occasion with a great final set combining techniques and the depth of local meaningful lyrics.
To round off the evening we will hear 'Little Drivers'. Little Drivers are a five-piece band formed in Tower Hamlets, but fuelled by Irish, British and French roots. Blending funk-driven grooves, folk-leaning melodies and rock-fuelled energy, their music thrives on contrast and connection. A clash of cultures and styles, the band moves effortlessly between sounds while carving out an identity of their own. Dynamic, diverse and built for the stage, Little Drivers deliver sets that are as unpredictable as they are engaging.
