Event Details
Year 3 artists at Haberdashers’ Hatcham Free School have created their own procession inspired by artist Hew Locke's The Procession. Please come and watch this colourful procession through Telegraph Hill Lower Park. They will be joined by musicians from the school’s Samba Band to create a vibrant carnival ambience! You will see many amazing characters painted with symbolic colour to express what the children feel and hope for with regard to climate change: red for love, yellow for hope, blue for sadness. Like Hew Locke's The Procession, Year 3’s procession is a hopeful, optimistic movement of characters passing through different spaces towards a wonderful future.
