Bark in the Park Races 12.30 - 2.30
12.30pm - Puppy Mini Skills: maximum of 8 dogs.
A gentle introduction for our youngest pups. Think simple skills, early learning, and lots of encouragement. It’s all about building confidence, connection, and celebrating those first little wins.
12.45pm - Hoopers: maximum of 8 dogs.
Smooth, flowing, and surprisingly satisfying to watch. Dogs make their way through hoops, loop around a barrel, and head back home. It’s all about teamwork and finding a nice rhythm together.
1.00pm - Flyball: maximum of 8 dogs.
Fast, focused, and full of energy. Over the hurdles, trigger the box, grab the ball, and race back to the finish. A great mix of speed, drive, and enthusiasm.
1.15pm - Agility: maximum of 9 dogs.
A mini obstacle course with jumps, weaves, tunnels and turns. Dogs and handlers work together to complete the course in order, combining speed, control, and communication.
1.30pm - Dog & Owner Relay: maximum of 9 dogs
Balance meets teamwork. Owners carry a tennis ball on a spoon while their dog comes along for the ride. It takes focus, coordination, and a steady hand to make it across the finish line together.
1.45pm - Recall Race: maximum of 6 dogs
Simple in theory… call your dog and see how quickly they come back to you. It’s all about connection, enthusiasm, and that all-important finish line moment.
2.00pm - Trick Sprint: maximum of 9 dogs
A race with a twist. Along the course, dogs perform a series of tricks before heading for the finish. It’s a fun mix of skills, focus, and teamwork.
2.15pm: Temptation Alley: maximum of 9 dogs
The ultimate test of self-control. Treats, toys, and distractions line the route… can your dog stay focused and come straight back to you?
