A Guided Stroll along Freddy’s Blossom Walk

Event Details

A guided two-mile stroll along part of Freddy's Blossom walk, from Hilly Fields and finishing at the Hill Station.

Freddy’s Blossom Walk is a five-mile circular walk that has been lovingly planted with 150 trees over the last four seasons with the help of Street Trees For Living. It is a living, breathing memorial to Fred, a local teenager who tragically died aged nineteen. Fred grew up and thrived in the strong Telegraph Hill community. It is here where he found his best friends and the trees are planted in the parks and streets where Fred felt an enormous sense of belonging.

The blossom walk is a gift to our environment. It was designed by Freddy’s parents and paid for by family, friends and the community.

Donations to the tree fund appreciated.

Meet outside Pistachios in the Park cafe, Hilly Fields. Places are limited so reserve yours.
