Adrian Look will introduce the principles of German Tanztheater through games, smaller technical exercises and playful improvisation tasks. Tanztheater has a unique aesthetic and is rooted in authentic expression of emotional and physical states. It uses the elements of dance and the versatile range of the physical body and merges it with the psychology and intention of theatre to create a unique blend. Our goal is to express an emotional state through the body as well as through theatrical elements such as spoken word, song and actions.
We will cover a few of the technical basics of this approach mixed with fun explorations into our own inner world. Come and join to learn just this little bit more about yourself. Open to all levels.
