Martin Vickers

Martin's photography goes back to his youth, when at 17 he got his first SLR camera. Technical work on producing plates for palaeontological publications meant lots of dark room experience but he now concentrates on digital landscape photography and swapped the dark room for the more convenient "Lightroom". Having lived in Telegraph Hill for a very long time, inevitably those landscapes are often of the local area. Familiar scenes seen from unfamiliar angles or with an unusual light.
