Event Details

Audience Size: 15

Self-professed food enthusiast Simon Rai works with food charity Be Enriched. In this session, Simon will cover the basics of Indian cooking, showing how to make simple dishes from scratch. You’ll learn how to use spices with everyday vegetables and ingredients, and cook easy, comforting dishes like daal or a vegetable curry, served with rice and a fresh raita dip. A fun session for kids to try new things. To be enjoyed afterwards.

Doors open at 10:45.

This event is part of the Guest Chef Fortnight. Over two weeks, chefs will run workshops on how to cook simple, tasty meals using surplus food donated by the Felix Project that would have otherwise gone to waste. Come learn with us or join later to enjoy the community feast!
