Often I hear people say ‘I can’t do watercolour or it’s really difficult,’ often comparing themselves to the technical wizardry and purism the medium attracts.
In this workshop I hope to show that this wonderful medium can be fun anyone can attain lovely results, with a bit of work.
We will look at laying washes, tones and drawing with the brush. Paper and surfaces to use, brushes and paints, also using other mediums like chalks and other materials in your painting.
Beginners to more experienced artists are welcome - you can work at your own pace and will have help.
Tea and coffee will be available free. Please bring some lunch or snacks.
I will send out a list of materials to bring (if you are struggling with this please let me know as will bringing some materials).
I look forward seeing you. Rima
