Trials and Errors: interactive, site-specific murder mystery play

  • Performance or Spectacle

Event Details

This year the Murder Mystery is going down the pub! Trials and Errors is an adaptation of 2013’s Thriller brought bang up to date for 2020 and the times have been changed from the printed programme to allow for more performances for you to choose form.

Meet 15 mins before start time in the front bar downstairs in the Telegraph at the Earl of Derby, 87 Dennett’s Road, SE14 5LW. Check in with Barbara the pub Manager.

It is 2022. Trump was re-elected and Boris has done his trade deal. A deregulated Lewisham Hospital is now under threat from US private medicine, and on top of that a local business syndicate is after the Fire Station. Someone has to save them – again - and activists protest only to be fobbed off. When they unexpectedly discover what’s really planned for the Fire Station site things turn deadly serious and painfully personal.

Trials and Errors is a promenade interactive performance of a site specific murder mystery including walking and flights of steps and is not suitable for people with limited mobility (for more information contact the Festival box office).

Expect to participate! After witnessing the events leading up to the murder, interrogate the suspects to help the Detective identify the perpetrator. Interval drink included.
