Join us for an evening of embodied connection, self-care and creative expression, all through the magic of singing. Scientists, Healers and Elders across the globe agree that group singing in a relaxed and unpressured way is fantastic for your health! That’s why I’ve called it Song Medicine. I believe that this medicine is our birthright, and at Heart Song Collective, EVERY voice is welcome, because every body CAN sing.
Moving beyond a traditional "choir" format, our sessions are more inclusive and flowing, and totally focused on how it FEELS to sing in the moment, rather than on what we think we sound like. No sheet music, rehearsals or performances, just learning simple, soulful songs by ear and singing them together in a heart-centred, relaxed way. You are always in choice: stand or sit; stillness or movement; sing whichever voice part feels best - the human voice dances beyond the gender binary.
