Candy Blackham, author of: “Green Lewisham: Our treasured open spaces” will give an illustrated talk on the green spaces in our borough which are hidden around almost every corner. There will be an opportunity to buy signed copies of her book, which, of course, features Telegraph Hill Park but includes lots of other amazing places. Walk along the centuries-old River Ravensbourne and its tributaries, or find stunning views of London from the hilltops. Discover trees, glades, herons and egrets, swans, and all sorts of wildlife you didn’t know was there.
This talk will start at 8pm and is open to all. Preceded at 7:30pm by the AGM of the Telegraph Hill Society to which all local residents are welcome. Further details are on our website at www.telegraphhillsociety.co.uk. Doors open 7pm.
