Organiser: The Field Youth Club
Join us to celebrate The Field Youth Club’s 1 year anniversary with an afternoon party of art activities, wood fired pizza making and more! Bring pizza toppings to share!
The Field Youth Club is a youth liberation project in New Cross and we are hosting open days during the festival to show teenagers what we’re about, so join us for an afternoon of free art activities, sharing food and hanging out in our awesome space!
We meet every Saturday to make art, cook food, play games, watch films, go on trips and more. We are open-access, which means any teenager can freely attend and choose how they use the space and the shared resources.
We run a participatory, democratic and non-hierarchical social space, meaning that all members participate mutually in decision making and making things happen, doing so with nobody in charge.
We are autonomous and so try to resource ourselves without being dependent on powerful institutions with their economic, social and political agendas. This means we can genuinely follow the lead of young people!
Fun, Freedom and Solidarity!
