Event Details

"Be taken down various winding roads by Chesterton, Tolkein, Robert Frost and others, and then into some rather disquieting silences in what promises to be an enjoyable and memorable evening of poetry and verse, read and performed with gusto, bathos or pathos as appropriate. The Children’s Centre in Wallbutton Road provides a nicely secluded venue warmed with a Festival Bar.
And (“Poetry Please”) if there’s something you would like to hear, don’t hesitate to get in touch though the Festival email or via Facebook. Even if you can only half remember it, we will enjoy the challenge of trying to find it for you (beats paid work any day) and, with luck, you can enjoy hearing it."

Doors open at 7.30pm.
