Hot Desk: rehearsed reading of a new TV Sitcom

  • Performance or Spectacle

Event Details

The HOT DESK should be full of super-cool, hard-working ‘creatives’, but really it’s a revolving door of sycophants and dreamers. That’s why when Ursula arrives with an outrageous story, Phin isn’t distracted, he’s inspired. The two hit it off and Ursula convinces Phin to join Stretch Marks, the local yoga studio that she manages. There, Phin finds as many fools as he does at HOT DESK, and together they help each other negotiate the wacky world of SE London in 2020. Phin begins a journey of self-discovery, but will he transform himself in time for his girlfriend’s return from travelling?

Written by Telegraph Hill resident Craig Ryder, HOT DESK is an accumulation of numerous rumours, stories and soundbites that he’s seen and heard over the years of co-working and practising yoga.

The event is a rehearsed reading of episodes 1 & 2, followed by a Q&A with the cast and writer.
