Daniel Thomson (tenor) and Aileen Henry (harp) host an evening of Italian Baroque music by candlelight accompanied by one of the most beautiful instruments of the period - the Italian Triple Harp. Together, Daniel and Aileen explore the passionate music of this period. Ranging from virtuosic and fiery movement to inward and incredibly moving melancholy.
Daniel Thomson has performed in many well-known venues and festivals worldwide and is particularly known for his expressive and intimate style. In 2018 he released his solo album ""Secret Fires of Love"" and in 2019 he made his debut solo performance at the Wigmore Hall alongside Dame Emma Kirkby for her 70th birthday celebration performance.
Aileen Henry is one of the UK's leading exponents of the Italian triple harp and regularly plays with orchestras and ensembles around London, often in venues such as Royal Festival Hall, Glyndebourne, Cadogan Hall and St Martin’s in the Field.
