After consulting with event managers, and in light of the worsening coronavirus pandemic, the Telegraph Hill Festival Team have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Festival.

It wasn’t an easy decision. We feel it’s the right decision.

By cancelling Telegraph Hill Festival 2020 we want to play our part in limiting the chances of cross-infection in our community.

We’ve examined every measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus at Festival events. Unfortunately we don’t feel we’re able to go ahead without putting the health of our community at risk.

The rapidly changing situation may require our partner venues to close as part of wider socially responsible measures. That makes hosting large scale events impossible in those spaces. We’re so sorry about this.

We know everyone’s put in a huge amount of work. We’re devastated.

We hope that some of the events can still be held later in the year.

We will refund all advance bookings minus the processing fees, over which we have no control.

We advise everyone in the community to review government advice, available here – and also NHS advice here.

If you would like to discuss anything please get in touch by email.

We’ve done a lot of work to get the programme up, printed and circulated. It’s truly gutting to cancel Telegraph Hill Festival this year. It was set to be such a fantastic programme.

We give thanks to you and to everyone for working with us this far.

Please join us again as we re-launch in 2021.

Thank you – stay safe and well.

With love from the Telegraph Hill Festival team.
