Flower Arranging Demonstration and Workshop |
12.00pm to 2.30pm Telegraph Hill Centre Lounge small charge to cover cost of flowers Demonstration will start at 12 noon. Small charge for workshop to cover cost of flowers. Come along and watch a flower arranging demonstration by a highly creative and inventive teacher. You will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop on flower arranging and to learn about Bach flower remedies. Alternatively come along and buy one of the beautiful bouquets or arrangements that will be available for sale, remembering that it is Mothering Sunday the next day. This year's community production of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd will send shivers of delight down your spine as the Demon Barber of Fleet Street seeks his revenge aided by the eminently practical Mrs Lovett. The spell binding musical of this tragic tale will be performed by a cast of hundreds starting from as young as four. |

Doors open at 8.15 Looks like the old quintet is back together for Jazz Night – Mick Foster on sax, John Scott on trumpet, Paul Milnes on keyboard, plus newcomer Mike Roy on the brushes and sticks and a mystery bass player (i.e. we haven’t pinned him down yet!). With any luck we’ll have Telegraph Hill’s very own songstress, Katie Ellen, with us as well. You never know who else might be playing too... |
