This year's festival includes a number of superb sessions where people showcase their crafts and skills including:

A chance to buy a variety of art and crafts by local makers.  Refreshments available (proceeds to St Christopher's Hospice) Why buy mass produced items when you can have something unique and hand produced locally?  A wide variety of art, crafts and food by local makers, including ceramics, jewellery, textiles, woodwork, cards, prints, metalwork plus homemade refreshments and light lunches (with proceeds to St Christopher's Hospice). Card making workshop - a satisfying and creative activity for adults and young people

Come along and join in a creative workshop on card making.  This workshop will be held by a local card designer.  A satisfying and creative time to be had by all. 

The workshop will be suitable for adults and young people over the age of 14.

Flower arranging demonstration and workshop - or drop in to buy a bouquet for Mothering Sunday

.Flowers for workshop

Come along to the Vestry during the Craft Fair and watch a flower arranging demonstration by a highly creative and inventive teacher.  You will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop on flower arranging and to learn about Bach flower remedies.  There will be a small charge to cover the cost of the flowers.  The demonstration starts at 12 noon prompt.                         Alternatively, come along and buy one of the beautiful bouquets or arrangements that will be available for sale.  As it's Mothering Sunday the next day, you will be able to buy that gift of love for all the mothers in your life!  You can also order an arrangement for other special occasions (birthday, weddings, etc.).

The Creation Station "Exploration" arts and crafts classes for toddlers and preschool children.  The award winning Creation Station inspires children's imagination through a range of fabulous art and craft sessions and activities.  Our educational programme is underpinned by the government Early Years Foundation Stage and encourages children to explore, discover and develop their own journey of learning.  We use a wide range of materials and tools to help children and parents/carers to enjoy a diverse range of creative activities in a friendly and relaxed group without any stress or mess at home!  Themed classes incorporate art, craft, some music and movement to develop a child's thinking, improve concentration and hand-eye coordination, and nurture imagination.
